Sweet child o' mine - 期待 Guns N' Roses 來台演唱會

Guns N' Roses 要來台演唱了。
Guns N' Roses 在 90 年代爆紅，可以說 Heavy metal 中的團體，很少像他們這樣火的團。
出了經典的 Appetite for Destruction , G N' R Lies, Use Your Illusion I, Use Your Illusion II 專輯後，團員因為音樂理念不合或是...等原因， 吉他手 Izzy 退出後，專輯 The Spaghetti Incident 就弱得多了，後來團員四散，主唱 Axl Rose 在 2008 年在團員全部大換血的情況下，出了專輯＂Chinese Democracy＂。
 在等待演唱會之前， 翻譯一首很喜歡的歌。有一次星光大道的 PK 來賓小鐘，唱了這首：＂Sweet child o' mine ＂的。同事聊天時提到，說這是在說他多愛他小孩的，電視的翻譯是＂我親愛的小孩＂，我就吐槽說，拜託，Axl Rose 沒有自己親生的小孩，這是寫給他前妻  Erin Everly 的。Sweet child 就像 Sweet honey 一樣，不是指小孩，而是指愛人。如果 Axl Rose 在那個年紀唱＂我親愛的小孩＂，我會覺得一整個的怪。




Axl Rose 結了兩次婚，都以離婚收場，離婚後都和前妻互控對方暴力傷害，都庭外和解。
但這首＂Sweet child o' mine ＂可以看出 Axl Rose 內心善良天真的世界。
後面的＂Where do we go＂那一大段，很多歌手翻唱，都會把那一大段砍掉。但 Guns N' Roses 之所以是  Guns N' Roses ，就是搖滾批判精神，對比於兒時的美好時光，我們要往哪裡去才是現在的問題。
